Our client, a regional health centre in Ontario's existing network was based on legacy tech that provided no real-time location services. As a result, employees were unable to track and locate critical healthcare equipment. Additionally, unsatisfactory wireless coverage throughout the hospital caused nurses and doctors to lose connectivity as they moved throughout the facilities
Solution
MOBIA performed intensive wireless surveys throughout the client's facilities to ensure that the solution would provide the required density, so that personnel could quickly locate required healthcare equipment. MOBIA designed and implemented a new wireless solution built with Aruba wireless networking technology.
Outcome
The new wireless solution provided the client with the required wireless network capacity to implement a real-time location IoT solution for medical devices that would ultimately increase patient safety and care.
